Record stock movements
Adjust quantities as parts come in or get used.
- Record incoming stock when a shipment arrives.
- Record usage when a part is consumed on a job.
- Review the movement history if a quantity looks wrong.
Keep counts trustworthy
Reconcile quantities periodically against a physical count. Accurate stock makes it easier to know what to reorder before a job is held up waiting on a part.
